The LearnPhilanthropy Symposium took place on July 28 and 29,2010 in Chicago, bringing together invited leaders from across the country who represented the stakeholder organizations in grantmaker education and learning— the learners themselves, and those that develop, provide, present,or invest in,grantmaker education.
Feel free to review the final agenda and event pre-reading for the Symposium,as well as the list of confirmed participants, and let us know your thoughts.
To prepare for the Symposium, four working groups were assembled, with representation from affinity groups, regional associations, content provider groups, national infrastructure organizations, academic centers, and funders. These groups worked on knowledge and content;user needs;technology, and business modeling.
We invite your virtual participation in the project as well. Please feel free to:
- Take our surveys
- See who is on the working groups, what questions they are tackling, what ideas they are coming up with
- Follow us on Facebook and Twitter
- Give us your ideas. React to options. Tell us what might work, what might not. Be a part of this significant effort.
We all know that if this were easy to do,it would have been done before. Help make it a go this time.
